About

Christmas In Vinita was founded by a group of local community volunteers in 2017. These volunteers wanted to provide a Hometown Family Christmas to the citizens of Vinita absolutely free of charge to local families. Through lots of hard work the group was able to bring the very first Christmas in Vinita event to the citizens of Vinita on December 1st, 2018. This event featured a 14 foot live Christmas Tree, children's activities, food trucks, vendors, live entertainment and MUCH more. As the years went on the group worked tirelessly to establish that this event would remain a family tradition for years to come. In 2024 the Christmas in Vinita Committee was able to purchase a 17' Giant Everest Fir Commercial Christmas Tree. In addition to bringing you this Hometown Family Christmas event, the Christmas in Vinita Committee helps the city by cleaning and fluffing the wreaths that are placed along Route 66 in Downtown Vinita.

Christmas in Vinita has grown and remained a tradition that is only possible through volunteers and donations of local citizens and businesses. One-hundred percent of donations made go toward putting this event on and funding the Community Christmas Tree. We cannot do this without your support.
